Snappet is honored with the prestigious Comenius EduMedia Award by an international jury of educational scientists from ten European countries. Due to its continued developments this is the second time in a row that Snappet receives this award, only a few months after Snappet was awarded the German Educational Media Award digita.

Snappet is an innovative “plug&learn” solution for tablet-based learning at primary schools connecting students, teachers and extensive learning material for all major subjects, as well as parents. With several thousand exercises developed by primary educators for each subject and year it comprehensively covers the curriculum in the core subjects.

The Comenius EduMedia Award is the most prestigious German and European award for outstanding products among ICT-supported educational media. The Society for Pedagogy and Information (GPI), a scientific society for multimedia, educational technology and media didactics, awards this award in 2015 for the 20th time. This year there were more than 170 applications from 26 countries from Europe, Asia and North America.

The media experts praised Snappet in particular for the high educational, design and media quality. They emphasized the clear presentation, the user-friendly design avoiding unnecessary distraction as well as the high level of reliability of the system.

The award was presented during a festive ceremony in Berlin next to the Brandenburger Gate in Berlin. Dr. Axel Liao, Managing Director of Snappet thanked the jury. «The Comenius EduMedia Award is a particular honor for us. We obviously share the passion of the organizers and judges for solutions in education hat make digital media accessible to all teachers by user-friendly design. Only such sophisticated solutions for mobile learning enable true individual learning experiences for every student and prepare them for the challenges of society in the 21st century.
